The APS? is a system that would take your vehicle and park it into bays that would hold the vehicle. This essentially places the platform the automobile is on above another automobile. This non touching stacking is done to assure there is maximum storage available. It also stands to reason why the APS will take 5 floors of the building. There will be enough spaces for at least 150% of the number of households in the building.
This will mean the elevator will go from 1 to 7 skipping 2-6 along the way. If a technician needs to come in, they will have the resources they will need to do any repairs. There will be ventilation systems in case there is carbon monoxide detected by the system. This will force the CO out of the building through these vents in the garage space. These vents are grated so no creature beyond bug size can get it. For the APS to be use, the user must have an active credit/debit card. This card will be used for paying by the hour. Those with leases will be provided with a NFC card that will connect with the system to decide if they have a lease or not. If not, a message will flash that a credit card for hourly rates must be done.
However, electric vehicle charging will be extra. The charge will be 50ยข per kWh. This is designed to make a small profit, but I doubt I will be getting rich. I will assume most low income households will not have an electric vehicle. Used gas vehicles are cheaper than used electric vehicles.
Anyone parking into the receiving bay, and does not fully complete the transaction, the automobile will remain in that bay. If this happens, the automobile will get towed at owner’s expense. This is to assure that the person doesn’t abuse the system. Parking in the bay and staying there will be the same as parking at a no parking location.
