Currently, I have to take a bus to the PMB?. If I bought an entire block, I will have enough space to offer a PMB. I will contact all of the people that I write to via mail, and inform them of the new PMB. I will explain that I moved, and this PMB will be closer to where I live, and make it easier for me to go to this one. Ideally, I will be cheaper than UPS store, but must also be able to make a profit. With a private address, I will be able to have all shippers deliver to the address. A PO Box is only available for the USPS. Since I don’t get enough mail, I will choose the smallest box which will likely hold 10 envelopes. I will also have an email system for when packages come, and will try to bring the PMB mailboxes to the 21st century, and make it possible to notify by email when mail is delivered to the mailbox making trips to the PMB worthwhile.
The PMB will also offer Amazon Lockers. This may sound counter-intuitive, but providing the Lockers into the PMB, I would be able to get foot traffic in the door. They can then see the benefits of having a PMB and realize it is just as secured as an Amazon Lovker. They will also learn that all packages, and all mail will give a notification that there is mail and/or a package waiting for them. The idea will be to get potential customers into the door. With that in mind, there will be information on the difference of an Amazon Locker versus using a PMB address.
I will likely have a choice in the box number that I will receive. To make it as easy for my postal correspondences to communicate with me, I will keep the same box number, but the address will definitely change. This will still not be a PO Box, so I will have to remind the people that write to me that the box number is not a PO Box, but a standard PMB box. Since I don’t have the PMB, I obviously don’t have the telephone number. I will also need a website, and email address. The website will be something like https://franksboxes.tld, and an email address will be store@franksboxes.tld. Since the customer will receive a notification when it receives mail or a package, the customer will have another reason why this address will be better than a PO Box.
